Sunday 26 July - finish Terrasse path, concerts
We were still waiting to hear news of Frank’s health, so we busied ourselves with various things in Moissac.
I finished the path to the Terrasse, after borrowing a sledge hammer and chisel from Andre next door to chip away a concrete pad that had been spread at the foot of the stairs. In the end, it became too difficult to remove any more, so I just adapted the path design to accommodate what remained. The final product makes it much easier to access the Terrasse.

Rita used the excess dirt on the garden behind the Terrasse, then spread some mulch and used some extra pavers for stepping stones to give a finished look.

While Rita went to various concerts in the evening, I realised that I was not a professional landscape gardener, as my muscles were crying out for a rest. So I hit the sack for an early night.
