Saturday 27 August - back to barging, Aussie dinner in Castelsarassin

Having been "tourists" for a couple of days, we decided that, with the better weather, we would go back to being bargees again today. So we packed up and headed south in Kanumbra, over the Cacor Aqueduct crossing the River Tarn and then on to Castelsarassin, where we moored on the "free" side near the railway station.
That afternoon we spent time on Zee Otter with Peter and Judy, and discovered they had a little apartment in Switzerland in the town of Ansere, near Sion. So we spent lots of time with maps spread out on the floor, and Rita showing them lots of other interesting spots in Swtizerland. We also saw the 3 Aussies that we had met in Valence d'Agen (Paul, Kevin and Donna) in port, so that evening we all went out to dinner together with a friend of Judy's from the USA (in picture, L to R: Donna, Kevin, July, Tony, Paul, Laura, Rita and Peter).
