Wednesday 31 August - last full day in Moissac, farewell drinks on Amarok

Our last day in Moissac was basically a cleaning-up day. I gave the outside a good wash and clean, while Rita did the inside including emptying the fridges etc. Then we packed our bags with things we didn't want to leave on the boat over winter. Finally, I posed in full dress uniform for the benefit of all our friends back home to show that indeed I was a skipper.

That afternoon we met up with the two syndicate partners that were taking over Amarok/Accord from Dick and Carol (Harvey and Sue Griggs) and had a few drinks on board Accord before heading off to dinner at Lou's.
