Progress - Bedroom 6
December 2013
Taking down the ceiling, and all the supporting battens, was a messy job, as shown by the accumulated debris in Bedroom 6. It was this quantity of rubbish that demanded the construction of the "rubbish shute" described earlier.
The view up from Bedroom 6, without the ceiling, revealed structural timbers and a previously hidden skylight.
March 2014
In March, the suspended ceiling hangers were installed in Bedroom 6. It was also clear where the Mezzanine above was located from looking at the floorboards for that area.
April 2014
The VMC ductwork was installed in Bedroom 6, under the flooring of the Mezzanine above.
June 2014
Plasterwork was undertaken in Bedroom 6, which meant saying goodbye to most of the old pale blue wall.
August 2014
Wow, what a makeover! The transition is almost complete from the old pale blue and yellow room to a spic-and-span white room with sanded and stained floors.
