Renovation Plans

There were not planned to be many fundamental changes in the cellar after the renovation. It will be necessary to replace most of the wiring and the plumbing (to comply with modern building regulations), and a new condensing gas furnace will be installed to give a more energy-efficient hot water and heating system. At some point in the future, we plan to have a wine historian come to catalogue and value the bottles once we have settled in.

But the basement was to provide one of the major surprises in the renovation!
